  • Everyone is touched by mental health as much as Cancer, Alzheimer or Heart Disease yet it continually overlooked. Young and old are continually stuck in a rut with what seems no way out, with help stretched to the limit the outlook is bleak, resulting in suicide among ages that should not even know the meaning of the word. The fear is if they speak up they will be labelled with 'teenage angst' 'weak' 'emo' or simply 'troubled'. Time the world woke up and realised its here and its not going away.

  • Mental health problems affect so many people and their families. Mental health is not seen as a glamorous area so is often forgotten.

  • To discover and make a difference.

  • I have suffered from Panic attacks, Depression, Agoraphobia, Monophobia, since I was 19, and am now a senior citizen, am addicted to Valium for over 40 years, been on so many tablets over my lifetime, Tried all types of therapy, you name it I have tried it. But the doctors said I have had it too long now, it has become part of my way of life I watched the TV stars who support the mental health, and wish I could do what they have done. My life is lived in fear

  • So that one day the stigma and suffering of our loved ones with a mental illness will be eased

  • Having observed the concequences of mental health in people close to me i have come to understand how vulnerable and susceptible most people are to developing a mental health condition. I think that it's important to recognise the symptoms early so severe development of mental health disease is counteracted.

  • It is important that people in the profession get a better understanding of the various mental health diseases, not just the clinical characteristics but also the personal characteristics of the patient - individual differences are a very important aspect diagnosis and prognosis.
