  • Once people understand more about mental health issues, maybe they'll stop trying to sweep these issues under carpet! Research will help inform better services and treatment for those who suffer from mental ill health.

  • I have bipolar disorder.

  • i have cancer - free iran, twice in one night - look to the stars and remember ......... remmember the boys.

  • I have issues

  • I study mental health issues at college and learning an introduction in to attitudes and law relevant to mental health ive 2 assesments to do as part of my course im looking in to the study any help is appreciated

  • I myself suffer with depression. Usually I am a very energetic warm person, unless I'm depressed when I withdraw, have irrational thoughts and struggle to do even basic tasks. People tell me to pull myself together, what have I got to be depressed about... it's frustrating, it's like a cancer in the mind and you wouldn't tell someone to snap out of that would you! The more information available, the less of a stigma and the more people it can help.

  • Mental health research is the poor relation to cancer and physical health research perhaps because until recently mental health has been a taboo subject for everyone except the mental ill-health sufferers, the Mental Health consultants, doctors, nurses and last but not least the carers. This lack of funding must be addressed to help all of us involved in mental health.
